Dear Parents, 

As you may already be aware the number of covid cases within our area has been rising. Some schools are starting to become affected and are having bubbles and whole schools closed.  There has been one local school (not within the village) reporting 17 cases so far.  We have done so well to come this far without any incidents within preschool and we are really hoping to be able to finish this term. All preschool staff are taking regular covid tests to help keep us all safe.  

We are asking parents to ‘err on the side of caution’ if your child is feeling unwell.  All children who have a high temperature or continuous cough or loss of smell and taste should be kept at home and book an official test via the gov.uk website.  Families should follow the current guidelines for household/bubble’s isolating.
