Just to let parents know that Sports day will be on the 12th July at 11 am at the Rec.

We will be hosting an end of year party for the children on the 5th July which parents are welcome to attend.

At the moment we are planning to open tomorrow as the main roads to West Hoathly are currently clear and there is no snow forecast this evening. We advise that you walk where possible and avoid driving on the road between the Fox and the church. We will update you in the morning if this changes. It is due to snow from 12 noon so please keep an eye on the weather and pick your child up early if you feel necessary.

West Hoathly Pre School will, unfortunately, have to remain closed today due to the very icy conditions.

Unfortunately, due to the very poor weather and dangerous road conditions both the school and Pre-school will be closed today.

This week we will be having our monthly committee meeting and as part of this we will be discussing the results of our recent parent survey (sent to you via email) and identifying any steps we can take further  enhance our pre-school.  If you have not already filled this out and would like to have your say, please follow the link below.  We especially value any comments and suggestions.  There is space for these at the bottom of the form.

The West Hoathly Primary School Photographer will be coming in to West Hoathly school on Wednesday 1st November to take individual photographs of the children.Preschool siblings are invited to come in at 8.30am to be photographed. 

Dear Parents,

Until now, our committee member Sally Beaumont has very kindly been liaising with the Cool Milk scheme in order that our children at Pre-school receive free fresh milk on a daily basis.

Sally’s little girl left pre-school a year ago and she has very kindly continued to organise this but she is now stepping down from the committee and so has asked that someone else takes over organizing the milk.

I would like to also take this opportunity to thank Sally for all her work with the Pre-school committee.  ALL committee roles are 100% voluntary (and Pre-school cannot exist without it) and Sally has gone above and beyond to support Pre-school over the last 3.5 years.

We would be very grateful if another parent would take over the role of organising the milk.  You do not need to join the committee to do this although you would be very welcome to! 🙂 Sally tells me the role, in total, takes about 30 minutes of time per month.  I am very happy to give you more detail of what needs to be done, please email me at preschoolchair@gmail.com

If we are not able to find someone to do this, we will not be able to continue to receive free milk.
