As you are probably all aware we are a Community Preschool which is overseen by a committee. Now that life seems to be getting back to some sort of normality we are looking for new committee members to join us. Our current committee are due to step down at the end of term and in order to stay open we require new parents to sign up.  

The preschool can not remain open unless we have a fully running committee that comsists of at least a chairperson, a secretary and a treasurer.  We have already had someone step forward to take on the chairperson role which is great. We also leagally have to have an annual AGM meeting which is now due.  Please see poster below for details of the next meeting that will be held at West Hoathly Primary School (not at preschool). 

What being on the committee involves :

Before Covid we met around once a month in the evening at a local pub or someone’s home to discuss Preschool business and to help organise lovely fundraising events. Being on the committee is a great way to meet other parents within our community and to help raise much needed funds to keep our preschool running. We’ve had some amazing events previously such as Band nights, paella nights and Burns night. We really can’t wait to get planning another fabulous social event.
