So far this week we’ve sorted shapes in the tough tray and using the cellophane on the light box.  We’ve also spread our own butter on our toast at snack and experimented with milk, food dye and washing up liquid. Today we have made kaleidoscopes and coloured binoculars.  

Welcome back everyone!

Today we have welcomed back Coach Ollie and we had Coach Owen too. We were doing football. We learnt to dribble, balance and kick all while playing really fun games. The children all really enjoyed the session!

Tomorrow is the last day of term! We seem to be missing a few books from our book box. Please could everyone check their shelves and bring in any preschool books.

This week we are getting ready for Sports Day on Thursday. 

Liz will be holding a cake sale after pre school at the hall today to raise money for the church extension fund. 

Today was our Summer Party.  We all had a great time being entertained by the wonderful Dainty Sue and Andy Hiccup. We also said a farewell to Jane who will be greatly missed at preschool. She has worked so hard to make preschool the place it is today.

Our topic this week is the beach. We’ve used treasure maps to find and dig up treasure. Practiced catching and throwing with beach balls and played with things from the beach. We have also harvested our amazing radishes and lettuce! The children have all cared for their plants really well.

Please could we have cakes donated for Sports Day, and also we need some volunteers to man the cake and tea stall. Please let us know if you can help. 

Today Coach Ollie has been in and we’ve beeen practicing fielding. After we warmed up we were catching and throwing and throwing at targets. Outside we were experimenting with sand and colour. We were also playing with water. We made a train and went to South America today.
