This Thursday 4th April is our last day before the Easter holidays. We will be back on Tuesday 23rd April.

On the 4th of May we will not be able to use the village hall due to the elections being held here. We have booked the village hall at Highbrook instead and will hold pre school there. 

Half term will be 27th – 31st May.

Sports day will be Thursday 20th June.

Our last day of term will be Thursday 11th July. 

This week has been full of fun! We have been leaning about life cycles and Esther and Joe brought their chickens in! We also had an amazing time making slime and playing with it too.

Thank you so much to all the amazing Mummies that came in today to spend a wonderful Mother’s Day tea with their children! We hope you all have a lovely day on Sunday! 💕

We will be holding a Mother’s Day morning tea Thursday 28th March from 11.45am. Open to Grandmothers too. Please could you let us know if you can make it. 

As you know we recently postponed our inset day and it will now on Monday 18th March. This is to coincide with the West Hoathly school inset day and make life easier for parents.

Tomorrow (Monday 25th February) was due to be an inset day in line with West Hoathly School but as they have changed theirs we have decided to do the same to make things easier for parents so we will be open as usual.

Yesterday we made ‘ice cream’ using cornflour and conditioner. The children had so much fun playing with it and serving up lots of ice creams with paper sprinkles. 🍦

Today we had a snow themed tough tray. It was a wonderful sensory experience for the children and the hall had a beautiful light dusting of snow by the end of the day. 😁

Don’t forget that if your child is due to start school this September (2019), today is the deadline day to submit your application. If you need any help with this then speak to any of the pre school staff.

Today we have been learning about and experimenting with ice. We did ice painting in the tough tray and then we experimented with different ways of melting ice such as in cold water, hot water and our hands!

This week on Monday we made pizzas. We’ve been really busy practicing for our Nativity and making Christmas crafts. We had a great session with Coach Ollie on Wednesday.

We’ve been lucky enough to be given some outside equipment from school which we’ve all been really enjoying too.
