We have had such a fun morning with our big build. The children were all absolutely amazing and had great fun! They worked well as a team and all helped to tidy up before Coach Ollie came.

We started by rolling the children masking tape to play with and explore. Then we rolled out paper and they all stuck it down. With the lovely graphite pencils the children drew on the paper. We then used the masking tape to make our castle and attach newspaper. After all our building we put the disco light on and usd the finger lights to play and explore in our castle. We also had snack in our castle!

Tomorrow as part of our road safety week we will be doing a race track day at pre school. Children are welcome to bring their own bikes and scooters. Please could we ask that they also bring helmets. We have our pre school bikes and scooters here too!

We have been having lots of fun this week learning about Chinese New Year. The children have made lanterns and fans, they have also been colouring and decorating a picture of a rat as it’s the Chinese Year of the rat. We have done some Chinese dancing. They have been writing their names in Chinese and on Wednesday we had noodles for snack and they were a big hit! 

Our AGM this evening will be in the well room at The Cat from 7.45pm. All parents are welcome to come. It is a lovely way to find out more about pre school and get to know other parents. We hope to see you there! 

We will be having our AGM on Thursday evening all parents are welcome to join the meeting.  More details to follow. 

This is just a quick reminder that for all children starting school in September 2020 the deadline for applications closes tomorrow.

We’re all really looking forward to you coming to our Nativity tomorrow. If your child doesn’t usually attend they are welcome to come at 8.45 and the Nativity will start at 10.45 in the village hall. We will be having a refreshments after to raise money for the Food Bank. Donations of cake etc would be amazing if you can!

Children don’t have to wear anything specific, what ever they are comfortable and happy in!

Don’t forget that tomorrow pre school will be at Highbrook Village hall (Hammingden Lane RH17 6SS) from 8.45-12.30. Liz is coming to do some singing and coach Ollie will be coming too.

Please could you bring an individual snack for your child to have mid morning.

There will also be a charity bake sale at 12.30 to raise money for Crisis at Christmas so don’t forget your change! 

Due to the elections taking place in the village hall on Thursday 12th December we won’t be able to have our usual pre school session at West Hoathly Village hall. We have however booked Highbrook Village hall and will have pre school there for the morning on the 12th. If you are unsure of how to get there or need any more information then please come and speak to any of us as we’d be happy to help. 
On Wednesday 11th December we will be having a Christmas party with a special elf from Father Christmas coming to see us! I’ll send out more info about this in the next few days.

This week we’ve have been having some musical fun with instruments and dance. During messy play we mixed water and flour together with different colours and looked at colour changing. We used different utensils to mix it all up and had a great time getting messy! We’ve been painting, dressing up and creating puppet shows wi the finger puppets.
