A message from The Children’s Forest about Forest School –
We are delighted to be joining your children at Pickeridge Farm for the Children’s Forest project next monday morning.
We will spend three consecutive monday mornings from 8.45 -12.30pm with the children on the following dates:
Please ensure the children are dressed well for all weathers as we will will spend all our time outdoors playing in the woods and fields:
Good waterproofs – Coat, trousers and wellies
Warm jumper aswell as T-shirt or under layer
Pickeridge Farm, Cob Lane, Ardingly, RH17 6ST
Directions when approaching from West Hoathly
Drive along Hook Lane passing Hook Farm until you reach the point where Hook Lane turns into Cob Lane. At that corner you will see two tracks, one going up to Bellows Nose, and one going down to Holly Farm and Pickeridge. Take the track going down and keep right at the fork. Continue all the way down and park at the top of the field on the hard standing (where you will see building materials).
The track down to the farm is narrow and passing a vehicle going in the opposite direction is challenging! We therefore request people car share as much as possible. Also, if you are able to wait until all the children arrive have arrived that would be great as then everyone can leave at once going in the same direction.
Thank you for your help.
with best wishes
Anna and Erica from Children’s Forest and Rachel and Will of Pickeridge farm
