This week we’ve have been having some musical fun with instruments and dance. During messy play we mixed water and flour together with different colours and looked at colour changing. We used different utensils to mix it all up and had a great time getting messy! We’ve been painting, dressing up and creating puppet shows wi the finger puppets. Here is a photo of us all during snack time together too.

We will be having our Nativity after the West Hoathly School Nativity on Tuesday 17th December. The school Nativity is at 9.30am so we will aim to start ours at 10.45am so parents have the chance to get to both if they need to.

If your child doesn’t usually attend pre school on a Tuesday they are welcome to come in at 8.45am and spend he morning with us or you can bring them at 10.30am to get ready. We would welcome any help from parents to set up on the morning. If you are able to help please could you let one of the pre school teachers know.

After our Nativity we will be having tea/coffee and cake to raise money for the East Grinstead Food Bank and would really appreciate any donations of cakes etc for this! 

The children have been really enjoying the book The Little Red Hen. Through this book the children have learnt about sharing and taking turns as well as being kind. The children also enjoyed making bread rolls together. We also had lots of fun making firework pictures too.

Our water is back on at the hall so we will now be able to open! 

Good morning, as I’m sure many of you are aware we have no water in the village at the moment. This is thought to be due to a fault at the power station. Unfortunately we are unable to open pre school if there is no water, as the children cannot use the toilets, wash hands or get fresh drinking water.

If the water does come back on soon we will endeavour to open and will keep you all updated.
