Dear Paretns,

We are really looking forward to Sports Day tomorrow.  Many thanks to all those who have offered to make cakes to sell and to help set up and clear up, please bring them to Pre-school in the morning.  The primary school have agreed that we can run a cake sale there after school tomorrow with what we have left over, to raise money for Pre-school, so please bring as much as you can as it will all go.

Can those of you who have kindly offered to help please come straight after drop off.  For everyone else sports day will start at 10.30 am.  If your child does not attend Pre-school on a Thursday, please bring them to the Rec at 10.30 am.

Please remember sun hats, cream and water bottles.  If it does rain we may need to relocate to the hall.  We will let you know tomorrow morning via the blog.

We are really looking forward to seeing some of you at sports day on Thursday 6th July.  During the morning we hope to serve refreshments such cream teas and cakes with all proceeds going to pre-school.

If anyone would be able to make a cake or help set up after drop off, serve for a short time on the day or help pack up the gazebos afterwards we would be very grateful.

As the weather continues to be very hot this week we would like to remind you that all children need a sun hat and cream applied before they arrive at Pre-school.  

The Cygents had a fantastic time visiting their new school this afternoon. They found out what it was like to eat their lunch in the big hall, met their new teacher and had lots of fun exploring their new classroom. We can’t wait for new week! 

Hi all, in answer to a couple or queries, the school prefer cash for this so please can you bring the cash for the school lunches to each Cygnets session and Jane will collect it and give it to the school. 

Thank you so much to everyone who helped out with or visited our Farmyard Experience at the West Hoathly Country and Game Show on Saturday.  It was a fantastic day and we all had so much fun as well as learning a lot about the animals.

A special thank you to Lorna and her family who worked so hard to set up and run the stall and to Rebecca and Stacia for all their help and organisation.

We raised £200 for Pre-school which is fantastic!

The 3rd June is the West Hoathly Country And Game Show. Our Pre-school will be running an animal petting area (chicks, rabbits, lambs etc), kindly organised by Lorna, Joshua’s mum. We really need some help running the stall on the day. If anyone can give up an hour of their time (you can collect money if you don’t want to be involved with your he animals!) we would be very grateful. All proceeds will go to the Pre-school to buy resources to enhance the children’s learning. A sign up sheet will be at Pre-school shortly.

Dear Parents,

We have already had an exciting first couple of weeks back at Pre-school and there is much more to come.  We thought you might like to know what we have in store so that you can talk about things at home with your children and in case your children have any topic related books or objects they would like to bring and share during that week.

Our Sports day will be on the 6th July.  Please come and bring family.  Drinks and cakes will be served with all proceeds going to Pre-school.

Please also come to our Petting Farm stall at the West Hoathly Country and Game Show on Saturday the 3rd June.  There will be lots of animals to pet and handle, including reptiles! If anyone is a available to help out on the stall (animal holding not essential!) please let a member of staff know.
